Hey Guys!
We cannot believe that we have reached our final destination state, South Dakota. We are staying at Custer State park, right next to Wind Cave National Park and Mt. Rushmore. We took a tour of the wind caves today and are going to see famous Mt. Rushmore tonight. Tonight is our last night camping because we head to Soiux Falls to stay at Nate Deans aunts' house. We cannot believe that in 2 days we begin the Journey home. We will be starting back for Houghton on Saturday morning at 3am with and estimated arrival back in Houghton at about 3am Sunday. Please pray for awake driving, and safe travels! I will post the final pictures and videos when we get back!
Love to All!

The Grand Tetons!
Hey Everybody!
We have made it to the Grand Tetons! We were warmly (or not so much) welcomed to the Tetons by 30 degree snowy weather yesterday. We found our Campsite at Jenny Lake and went to go look at the mountains and lake. To our disappointment, the weather was inhibiting our ability to see the glorious Tetons and all of their majestic peaks. To our surprise, on our excursion to see the mountains, we were graced by the presence of a full grown male Moose! He was absolutely beautiful. Unimpressed with our presence, he continued to quietly snack on some vegetation while we stared in amazement. This encounter certainly brightened our moods and gave us hope for the Tetons. Later that evening, we enjoyed: grocery shopping in Jackson WY, Cronksause (Hot Italian Sausage) Stew, and a blazing campfire to warm us from the cold night. We awoke next morning, (today) and were pleasantly surprised to find the weather had improved. High 40's and clear skies allowed us to see the glorious Tetons and enjoy our hike. We have enjoyed our time here and are looking forward to Yellowstone. We have only a 3hr drive to Yellowstone tomorrow and we hope we are able to (finally) see a bear!
Love You All! (Wish you were here Trent :) )

Bear Lake
Hey Guys,
Bear Lake: Beachside campsite. Free Showers. Annoying Cows. Bascially heaven.
When we arrived here we were pretty skeptical about it (Again, we arrived to the campsite when it was dark) but we were pleasantly surprised when we woke up the next morning. We have enjoyed being the only residents in the campgrounds, so it basically is our own private beach with 4 (FREE!) Showers. Last Night we cooked Meat lovers pizzas over the fire, had an relaxing beach fire with Jumbo Marshmallows, and enjoyed a bit of late night swimming in the lake. Overall, Bear Lake has been pretty good to us.
Tomorrow we head to the Tetons(About 4hrs away), we are praying that the weather is not too terrible, and that we are able to enjoy the glorious mountains there.
Here is a video of the Beach/Lake:

Detour
Hey All!
Last you guys knew, we were on our way to the Tetons... but after waking at 4am this morning, packing up camp, looking ahead at the weather and the long 15+ hour haul to the Tetons, we decided to make a detour. After the ever helpful wisdom of John Mark's grandpa, we are headed to a place called: Bear Lake. Bear Lake is about 3 hours northeast of Salt Lake City Utah. Our campsite is supposed to be lake-side, and the weather for tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70's and sunny. Needless to say, we feel that this will be a nice alternative to our original plan.
I am hoping to gain access to WiFi sometime tomorrow or the next day so I can post videos/pictures of Bear Lake. Stay tuned...
Love You All! (Especially you Trent :) )

San Francisco, Tetons, Trent, Pictures Etc...
Hey Guys,
Now for the full update... First of all, we regret to inform all of you that we have lost one of our members. (Don't worry, he didnt die, and we didnt leave him) Through out the trip Trent had been struggling with pain and discomfort caused by what was thought to be a form of a urinary infection that had been giving him trouble a week before we left and continued throughout the trip. After the pain got worse he went to urgent care in Las Vegas who prescribed a treatment, but ultimately suggested he contact a specialist back home. He had been in contact with the Urologist in Buffalo for majority of the week who finally directed him to fly home and receive treatment from them as soon as possible. After arriving in Buffalo he went to the Urologist who diagnosed what was causing the pain to be a lower back injury and not a urinary infection as was originally thought. He is scheduled for an x ray tomorrow with his primary doctor in order to find out what the problem is. We are sad that he had to leave but we are thankful that they now know the problem and hopefully he can be on his way to a speedy recovery.
We went on a beautiful hike yesterday in Muir Woods where we saw huge Red Woods. Today we traveled into the big city of San Francisco and were able to see many things. We saw the house that is in the opening scene of the TV show Full House (Which was a childhood dream of many of ours). From there, we took the "F" line trolly along the historic district, eventually ending at Fishermans Warf on the coast. Then we on a drive through Pacific Heights (Rich houses, incredibly steep hills) which ended our journey. We are now going back to camp to relax/watch the sunset on the beach one last time.
Tomorrow we are headed to Grand Teton Nation Park (about a 12hr drive). This starts our journey back east. We cannot believe that it has already been more than 2 weeks that we have been on our trip! It will be over as fast as it began.
Here are the long awaited pictures from Arches Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Vegas, Yosemite, Muir Woods, and San Francisco.
We Love You All! (We miss you so much Trent!)
